Delta T Alpha is now closed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your participation and valuable feedback towards improving the game and making it a huge success. We have made a note of all your suggestions and will be working towards incorporating those in the Beta Version.

I activated a second time and it appears to have killed 3 of my cores. Perhaps first time I was just too far away, I activated from home and I don’t have any cores nearby.

So I activated Asher Bane and nothing appears to have happened.  I still own all the cores around here and haven’t lost any. Do I just need to keep activating it?  Do I need to be near a core when I activate it? Some guidance would be appreciated.

A great solution for the scarcity (yes scarcity) of players in my region. It almost feels like a Loki on a grand scale, with cores leveling up .

Asherbane bot works nice for me, it converts portals arround you into other faction portals owned by asherbane/g/s/h/c depending on the colour. Really nice work.

hey guys,

The thing is that to make an active bot would be quite complex and may not be possible in the alpha test time frame. What we will try to do it move in for a quick release of a bot system which is more algorithmic in nature which will help players to play more. once other features are released (which will be quite soon), there will be lot more things for all of you guys. And will ensure the bots are created in a way that the players do not get stagnated…

Could you guys tell us what key issues do you fell in the progression of the games like:

-> no neutral cores to capture around me.
-> no enemy portals to attack or capture near me.
-> no players to interact/ trade/ create bases around me.

Bots having their own corps would be fun, as long as there is no long term implication of choosing a particular MegaCorp.
If testers feel their progress(of core planting and upgrade) is at a loss, maybe we can do this in a sandbox type environment?
I won’t mind either way.. would like to see how bases are made and defended.

* IF its feasible * Also if we are incorporating active bots with sandbox environment, maybe we can freeze our current progress and have bots as allies and enemies, doing various jobs of all the factions, simulating a global release. We can then test out everything,including the clan and base feature in depth, give feedback on anything that’s needed or any new feature that the team suggests. When its all said and done, get our accounts returned to our frozen progresses at the global release so that it won’t be (that much) unfair for new recruits in our region. Surely it would feel a loss of time and resources for our current testers, getting their accounts reset to the point before sandbox were implemented, but since they took their time and effort to test out every cog and wheel, they can maybe get rewarded? With a badge for bragger rights or something limited edition?

Active bots without sandboxing wouldn’t require any of this. We’ll be players fighting for control with other (virtual) players, just like we would when the game is released.

Passive bots IMO won’t do much because they’ll just be neutralizing cores and we can capture them back at our own pace, no base to defend or to destroy. This would allow us to test some, but not all features of the game.
